Kingdom Marriage Series: Episode Twelve

Hi, guys. How do you do? Long time no post, right? It was beyond my control, honestly. But I'm here for the last episode in the  Kingdom Marriage series . And it's a really interesting one. Mr. and Mrs. Scott and Beatrice Eneje shared a lot with us. I admire their honesty and vulnerability and can't wait to let you in on it.  Before I leave your face, here's a reminder to catch up on the previous episodes. They are filled with many lessons you can't afford to miss. Start from episode one , then move to the next episode  and the next one till you get to the previous episode . Deal? Alright, let's hear from today's couple. Nancita: Please introduce yourselves.  Mr.:  I'm Scott Eneje. Mrs.:  I'm Beatrice Scott Eneje. We’ve been married for 3 years now. Nancita: How did you meet? Mr.: We met in college. She caught my attention in a class when she dissed me for dissing friends who were trying to find out how I was the only one to score every point in a

How to Approach the End of a Month

Hi guys, welcome here. How do you do? So I started this month's writing by writing on how to have a happy new month. What better way to end this month's writing than this piece you're about to read? Hahaha  So the month of August 2022 folds up in about 18 hours time, never to return again for life. Phew! Isn't that something to think about? 2,678,400 seconds of our life are off our lifetime just like that. Or better put, 2,678,400 heartbeats are off our entire heartbeats on earth.  Truly, our days are numbered, but how are we approaching the numbers on the calendar? With this consciousness or just sleepwalking through the days?  There's about little you can still do in this month, however the benefit of reviewing the past month is to help prepare to have a better next month. And like the title says; you approach the end of the month by having a detailed and honest review of how you spent your time. Judge yourself well.  Go back to the goals you had and score yourse

Friendship. Good Old Friendship.

Hi guys, welcome here. How do you do?  Today, I write about a topic that has been in existence from ages past; Friendship. Good old friendship. One time I was discussing something one of my friends did for me with my sister and she said: "your friends are superstars, love that for you". I took a screenshot and posted it on my WhatsApp status, with a promise to my viewers that I'll write about friendship one of these days.  So here, promise is about to be fulfilled. Now, let it be known that this post alone cannot do justice to all I have to write. There'll be other posts with time. So enjoy this tip of the iceberg.  I can't keep many friends. Truth is, I really cannot meet up with the emotional demand. I'm usually drained by relationships and so most times I just step out of some relationships to recharge and get myself.  However, last year, one of the things I set out to achieve was to expand my circle of friends. Funny right? But I decided to stretch mysel

Building a Reading Culture

Hi guys, welcome to my blog, again.  Growing up, I wasn't much of a cartoon person, but while writing this post, a certain cartoon popped up. Weird, right? Well, it is what it is.  Today, I'm writing about building a reading culture. And like building a real house, we'll learn how to build a reading culture. For today, you may call me Bob the Builder 😊 You'd agree with me that the habit and culture of reading is gradually going extinct in our generation. This is because most millennials prefer to press phone . Don't get it wrong, pressing phone here does not include being engaged with virtual jobs or something more productive. Many youths are married to their phones, always online and immersed in the latest gist or online trend. They make it even more interesting when the creatives among them create stickers and memes that spice up their online activity. This in itself is fun as laughter has been proven to lower blood pressure, among other things. But the excess o

Flashback Friday.

Hi guys, welcome to my blog, again.  How do you do? I hope your "fine" is fine indeed. If you're part of those people that usually posted along the lines of MCM (man crush Monday) on Mondays,  WCW woman crush Wednesday) on Wednesdays, TBT (throwback Thursday) on Thursdays, etc, you're welcome to read an FBF post today. FBF simply means Flashback Friday.  But, where did that trend go, by the way? Apart from Thursday's TBT, I hardly see people post with those captions again. Well, trends come and trends go, but barracks remain.  So you're about to read a story from two years ago. I had a flashback moment and decided to let you in on it, of course with a lot to learn as well.  Enjoy! My two last brothers are technically inclined. They love fixing stuff around the house and when a gadget is spoilt, we don't discard it until they have tried to fix it and approve it cannot be fixed.  One time, this lemon-colored rechargeable lamp stopped working and one of them

How to make the World a Better Place

Hi guys, welcome here. How do you do? I said I was going to blog more this month and I'm doing that already. See? I'm back here again within the space of two days.  Where's my applause? Today, I write about how to make the world a better place. It is our responsibility and the earlier we start, the better for us. And I'll tell you how you can start.  Dive in, already! So one time I saw one piece of rubbish someone posted online and I said to the person beside me: how can I correct this girl? I wanted to but didn't because that person laughed and asked me if I wanted to become an internet police . She said that I should just mind my business.  I know you just nodded your head in agreement on reading that. Yes, mind your business sounds noble and good, but is it a way of being your brother's keeper? For context: this person is a close friend and we have a good relationship. If the world will become a better place, we all have a portion of responsibility to make i
