Kingdom Marriage Series: Episode Twelve

Hi, guys. How do you do? Long time no post, right? It was beyond my control, honestly. But I'm here for the last episode in the  Kingdom Marriage series . And it's a really interesting one. Mr. and Mrs. Scott and Beatrice Eneje shared a lot with us. I admire their honesty and vulnerability and can't wait to let you in on it.  Before I leave your face, here's a reminder to catch up on the previous episodes. They are filled with many lessons you can't afford to miss. Start from episode one , then move to the next episode  and the next one till you get to the previous episode . Deal? Alright, let's hear from today's couple. Nancita: Please introduce yourselves.  Mr.:  I'm Scott Eneje. Mrs.:  I'm Beatrice Scott Eneje. We’ve been married for 3 years now. Nancita: How did you meet? Mr.: We met in college. She caught my attention in a class when she dissed me for dissing friends who were trying to find out how I was the only one to score every point in a

Of Feelings and Authority

Of feelings and authority ...wow! I doubt that there's anyone on Earth that hasn't felt a couple of emotions at one time or the other. From joy to sadness, anger, love, lethargy, grief, loneliness etc etc  Feelings or emotions are powerful and can make or mar a person depending on the authority you give your feelings. The truth is; your feelings are very powerful and necessary, that's why God gave them to you in the first place. However, you cannot depend on them for destiny. They need to be brought under authority to maximize them. Listen, you can only fully navigate your life by giving certain things the authority they deserve and in the appropriate proportion too. Having your feelings subject to the authority you give them is paramount if you'd succeed in the leadership of yourself.  The strength of your feelings depends on the authority you give it. And it has a great stance on the decision making process of your life. It determines whether you fulfil purpose or fai

CHRISTIANITY VERSUS RELIGION

Christianity is a relationship with God. A connection to your maker, like a branch is connected to the roots of a tree. It is absolute dependence on God for every instruction in every area of your life, it is a lifestyle of walking with God, in His absolute will for your life everyday.  It is constantly dying to flesh and yielding to the spirit of God and allowing Him to manifest. Christianity is dynamic and not static. It is not occassional or ceremonial, but personal and continuous. In one Sunday school class, one of my favourite teachers broke it down to: CHRIST + ME = CHRISTIAN CHRISTIAN – CHRIST = I. A. N  Which is an acronym for I Am Nothing.  We are nothing, people! Without Christ, I am nothing, you are nothing. Let’s get it straight, it is not going to church that makes us Christians, but living like Christ. You might ask how you can live like Christ, just hold on darling, I will tell you how. It is simple: yield to the spirit of God and exhibit the fruit of the spirit.  It is

IN THIS BUILDING; TWENTYTHREE ROOMS

"The third stair in the second floor of this building.."  That's the illustration I used to announce my new age yesterday. I believe I am a building under construction in the hands of God the Constructor and so are you. So twenty three rooms here (like the rooms in an actual building) refers to some of the things that comprises my being. Some are my interests, likes, values and others my favorite things.   Over the years, I've found it very hard to respond to "tell me about yourself" And no, it's not from a place of unawareness, more like confusion or so. This is because a lot of things come to mind AT ONCE and the struggle becomes what to say exactly... So today, to make it easy for you, I decided to let you into the rooms of my heart. These are some of the things I hold dear..twenty three of them, because I just turned Twenty three. Go on your bathroom break now, grab a drink and enjoy. Let's go... ✓I have an amazing relationship with God.  I am

EAT OUTSIDE THE BOX.

Where are all the foodies here?  Can I hear you say yea, yea?… Lol... You can tell this is a topic so dear to my heart. Yes, I love food. And I mean all the activities that come with it; going to the market, preparing to cook, cooking, combining foods and yes, you guessed right…eating. I especially love trying out new dishes. I still do not understand how a person can eat the same food over and over again.🙄 When I say the same food, I mean food prepared the very same way since time immemorial. No twist, change or modification whatsoever. So if you know me, you most likely know I am an advocate for the ‘eat outside the box’ movement.  Please try something outside the comfort zone of your tastebud. You should read that again. Like I usually tell all and sundry, food combination doesn’t hurt, it is food poisoning and intoxication that does…hello Microbiology!… So please, if you made it to this point, do better and take up the challenge. Eat something different from your ususal and just e

My Love for Women.

I love women. I absolutely do. More attractive to me are the ones walking in purpose. The ones that consistently improve and work towards evolving into higher versions of themselves... I love them. The ones that don't settle for less than they deserve, are brutal in the leadership of themselves and still bring their strength under control in humility.. I love them. The ones that are not scared to launch into the deep and will not settle for safe... I love them. The ones that have not high heels but high standards and can pray and not just slay... I love them. The unapologetic chasers and lovers of God.. I love them The ones that are pregnant with vision now, ready to birth and not miscarry... I love them. The ones that will stand as midwives and help their sisters birth their own vision, without rivalry or competition... I love them. The ones reading this right now... I love them. Dear young woman, I love you... Happy International Women's Day! PS: You should celebrate yourself

Information Overwhelm; How Do You Deal?

In today's world, there's a huge demand and supply of information. We are in the age where information comes looking for you, for example; Google ads and the likes. You really don't need to actively search for certain information, unless you want a deeper and more detailed knowledge of a particular subject. It has proven to be great as some people actually get to learn all they can. But what happens when your intake is so much, compared to your execution? I hear there's a possibility for constipation to occur. You know like when you feed and digestion rate is slower than normal, it causes constipation.  Asides the digestive system, what if I mention that you might be suffering from 'knowledge constipation'? There's just too much information stored in your brain with little to no one being put to use. That's a not-so-good place to be in, you know. How about you become more selective about what you take in mentally? Just like you won't eat any and ever
