First, I officially welcome you to the month of March.
Daddy E.A Adeboye, Minister Victoria Orenze, Ayesha Curry and Nancita, all the amazing March stars I know, welcome you to a month of bliss.
I know you're asking why I didn't do this earlier, the month is already one week old and blah blah...but, is it your month?
Toh, you may now hold your peace.
So today is the 8th of March, 2022, and it is known as International Women's day world wide.
On behalf of all the women in the world, I dare say that we are just managing one day for this celebration/recognition. You and I know that a day isn't enough to celebrate any great woman you know.
Believe it or believe it.
Women are the best creations of God. Argue with your inner man. And I've been blessed with amazing women in my very small circle. I like it that way, btw.
Seriously, I don't understand how people say they don't keep female friends because of their drama. Like, how na?
Now, I'm not debunking the fact that some friendships are actually empty and drama filled o, but my question to you is: how are you attracting all that drama to your life? You're a suspect, to be honest.
A quick advice; before you think of changing your circle of friends, deal with your mindset and your value system. Cos, you attract who you are. You'll keep attracting the tribe that matches your vibe, no matter your expectations.
Well, this post isn't about drama or drama-filled friendships. I just want to let you know that, more like brag in your face that I get women for my life.
And they make up such a great support system. From women that I pray and study the word with, to women that I read with, share ideas with and just gist with. Also, women that connect me to other women of my kind and tribe, I doff my hat jhoor.
First, my mum. Oh, how much I love and admire you.
And my only sister...that woman is like 12 women in one sha.
Then my friends and sisters in the Lord…
Today, this is me saying I see you all and I'm grateful we get to do this life together, in whatever season and for however long.
Women are powerful, even the devil knows this. It's the reason he tries to throw many distractions our way. But we won't let him succeed.
I know there are many struggles, insecurities, challenges and storms we face daily. But you're not alone. That's why a tribe is important. Where you can share your burdens and be strengthened.
If you don't have female friends, this is your call to consider it. And be a good friend to a sister too. Remember, "he that must have friends…"
Asides a tribe, Jesus and joy are the two most important things you need in this life. Jesus and the joy of the Lord is the actual survival kit of any woman.
Now, regarding your insecurities and all, I'll have you know that the blood of Jesus, which is your stamp of ownership, is much more valuable than the number on your scale, your dress size, skin colour or whatever standard you judge yourself by.
Know this and know joy.
As I wrap this up, these points should be stitched to your heart for life...
You are beautiful just the way you are...
You are enough for the purpose God created you for...
I see you evolving to be all God has called you to be...
Just keep praying, studying, confessing, and investing in yourself while staying at the feet of Jesus...
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the hearts of men, the things that God will do with your life...
You're a great woman and the world will celebrate you soon...
Happy International Women's Day, dear woman
π₯³π₯³π₯³π₯³
So, how do you plan on celebrating this beautiful day? Abi you don't have women in your life? This is a good place to start from.
As for me, I sent the women in my circle messages. The flower and money will come later. Though I think cake, chocolate, perfume or something else should replace that flower sha.
Cheers to the best version of you...
Love and Light,
Nancita✨
Ps: This is a two-part post. The other half is about women who have inspired and influenced me from a distance. They are many, believe you me. But, I'll compress them into a single post, as much as I can. So watch out for the sequel post.
Pss: You'll share this with another woman, won't you? That's why I love you π
